Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! Although I’m based in Vancouver, Canada, I work with brands globally. Most collaboration happens via email, video calls, and shared documents — and I’ll make the process smooth no matter where you’re located.

  • A logo is just one piece of a much bigger picture. Branding is the full visual and strategic system that defines how your business looks, feels, and communicates — including colour palette, typography, imagery, tone of voice, and overall brand direction. A strong brand ensures consistency and recognition across every touchpoint, while a logo on its own can’t do that work alone. This distinction helps ensure your investment supports long-term growth, not just a single asset.

  • My services include everything from brand strategy and identity design to custom web design and illustration, depending on your project. You’ll receive a tailored list of deliverables in your proposal so you know exactly what’s included — and what results you can expect.

  • Timeline varies depending on the project scope, but typical branding projects take 6–12 weeks, and custom web design takes about 8–14 weeks from start to finish. This includes discovery, strategy, design, revisions, and final delivery. You’ll always receive a tailored timeline before we begin so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Each project includes a set number of revision rounds, which are outlined in your proposal so expectations are clear from the start. Revisions are collaborative and focused on refinement, ensuring the final result feels aligned and intentional. Additional revisions can always be added if needed and are quoted separately to keep the process transparent and respectful of scope.

  • All projects start with a 25% to 50% deposit to reserve your spot in my schedule. The remaining balance is due in phases — typically before final deliverables are sent. I accept payment by e-transfer, credit card or cheque. This structure keeps things smooth and protects your investment while ensuring clarity for both parties.

  • For larger projects, payment plans are available and are outlined clearly in your proposal before we begin. I also offer retainer options for ongoing design support, which are a great fit for brands that need consistent creative help over time. If you’re unsure what option makes the most sense, I’m happy to talk it through and recommend an approach that fits your goals.

  • At the end of your project, you’ll receive a complete set of finalized assets based on your scope of work. This may include brand files (logos, colour palette, typography), web-ready designs, and any additional deliverables outlined in your proposal. Everything is prepared for real-world use, so you can confidently launch, share, or hand off files without confusion.

  • All final files are delivered digitally via a shared folder or download link for easy access. You’ll receive organized, clearly labeled files in the appropriate formats for print and digital use, along with any basic usage guidance needed to help you apply them consistently.

  • Yes — many clients choose to add on services as their needs evolve. Additional work such as website updates, new collateral, illustration, or ongoing design support can be scoped and quoted separately once your initial project is complete. This flexible approach allows your brand to grow intentionally without feeling locked into everything at once.

  • Yes — post-launch support is available and can be tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking for help with updates, additional design assets, or ongoing creative support, this can be scoped separately once your project is complete. This flexible approach allows your brand to grow without feeling locked into long-term commitments.
