Brief

BWCV needed a refreshed brand identity that felt mature, modern, and adaptable. The goal was to create a colour palette and design system that could grow with new chapters and locations—while still celebrating the vibrancy, diversity, and strength of its community.

Concept

The creative direction centered around representing connection and empowerment through bold yet sophisticated visuals. A refreshed tone of voice, contemporary typography, and dynamic color palette came together to reflect the energy of Black womanhood while maintaining cohesion across future initiatives.

Solution

The new identity captures BWCV’s evolving mission—offering a flexible, confident visual system that honors individuality while uniting chapters under one brand. It celebrates community, joy, and empowerment through design that feels both elevated and deeply personal.
